Roon works by tying up your entire music library to a digital front end. Meaning no matter where the music is stored, you can use any app installed device as a controller to output the audio to any compatible device. Be it your desktopin the office, the floorstanders in the lounge, or that outdoor speaker during lunch.
A Roon system starts with a core it’s the traffic cop, the housekeeper, and the brains behind the operation. The core manages your music library from various sources, and constructs a digital library. The core can be your Mac or Windows PC, or a server.
