The HAL low voltage Relay Module is an 8 channel automation product designed to open or close internal relays and therefore interface with appropriately specified electro mechanical devices. It can handle anywhere between 0 and 24V and up to XXXmA on any of its 8 channels to supply power to external devices such as reticulation solenoids, projection screens, plasma lifts and blind motors. Upon activation of the relays these signals are also transferred via the HAL Automation network and converted to RS232 commands via a HAL Supervisor for integration with your HAL home automation system. A comprehensive software package also allows the Relay to interface directly with a HAL Lighting system so that you can activate devices connected to it from a HAL Lifepad controller or use external sensors to activate your HAL lighting. Each unit is equipped with feedback leds showing the status of each channel as well as current communications on the HAL Automation network and is housed in a robust metal case for reliable long term operation.
