New Yamaha MusicCast Amplifiers

New Yamaha MusicCast Amplifiers

Yamaha have just announced two very exciting new products to add to the large array already available for their MusicCast System.

MusicCast is Yamaha's system  for wirelessly streaming to and controlling a wide variety of their products. It's the easiest to use and most powerful system on the market.

The WX-A050 and WX-C050 are are small preamp and integrated amplifier designed to bring Yamaha Musiccast functionality to traditional systems. These look like they will be a great solution for quite a lot of people as they offer a superior quality product for many applications.

Both units have a compact chassis and have quite a modern, sleek design. They look like they are really well built and quite a balanced mix of features:

WXC-50 Highlights:

Designed to pair with any existing audio system at any quality level. With analogue and digital outputs, this easily adds streaming, DLNA, bluetooth and airplay to any existing stereo or home theater.

WXA-50 Highlights:

Designed to be added to a pair of existing speakers. This compact amplifier could be used for a main stereo system, outdoor speakers or in ceiling speakers throughout the house, the choices are endless.

With a claimed 65W / Channel power output and what looks to be quite a compact chassis, this could be the perfect solution for many custom installation scenarios.

Both are due to start shipping to NZ in August this year.
