Debut Turntable Tips and Tricks

Get the most out of your Debut Turntable

With the phenomenal success of Pro-Ject's Debut Turntables in New Zealand we've built up a treasure trove of knowledge on how to get the most out of this outstanding turntable.

  1. Pro-Ject Acrylic Platter

The acrylic platter completely eliminates any platter resonances and increases the inertia of the turntable. This results in a more stable speed and more accurate reproduction of your music. Plus it looks cool.

    2. Spin Clean

Spin Clean is the best record washing system out. It cleans all of the dirt and grime from the records and even gets rid of film and grease on brand new records.

     3. 2M Red Cartridge.

Improving the cartridge is one of the easiest ways to improve the sound from your turntable. Although the Debut often comes fitted with the decent OM 10 cartridge, the 2M Red is a massive step up in detail and musicality and is fitted standard to their higher end turntables.

Keeping your records clean is the simplest and most effective way of ensuring your records last and sound their best, we reccomend the Spin Clean Record washing system, which keeps records sounding awesome for years.

Also, for those of you with a collection of 78's to play, we stock the 78 RPM pulley kit, which when combined with the speed box allows easy changing between 33, 45 and 78 RPM.
