USB 3 vs USB 2 for D/A Converters

Every USB DAC on the market today is designed to be used with either USB 1.1 or USB 2.

Because of the design of the new standard, which supports higher data rates and higher power supply, there appears to be a couple small compatibility issues, specifically for USB audio.

To ensure you never have these problems, simply make sure you're using the standard USB 2 or 1.1 connections from your computer. Simple as that. At this stage, there are no quality or performance benefits in USB 3 for audio.
