USB D.A.C.s and Windows

Just a quick word here on using USB D.A.C.s with Windows. A few people have called us expressing frustration that their computer won't recognize their USB device. There are a few simple steps to follow to get the system working. After plugging the device in, Windows will show a series of 'balloons' from the task bar as it (hopefully) automatically detects, installs, and configures the USB Audio Device. After this, go to your control panel and click "Sounds and Audio Devices". Click the "Hardware" Tab and double click on the USB Audio Device.

For Windows 7 users, click on the speaker icon on your taskbar, click on the 'mixer' button, click on 'speakers' and select "USB Audio Device".

Happy Listening!
