The CM-IW100T allows an iPod touch to be used as a wireless touch screen for home automation control and music playback. Supporting a variety of downloadable applications for the control of audio, video, lighting and home automation, the CM-IW100T turns an iPod touch into a control and data access point.
An iPod touch is securely mounted into the CM-IW100T and trimmed with a magnetic faceplate to turn it into an in-wall multi-touch display.
The CM-IW100T may also be used as an in-wall music source. Music from an iTunes library or music streamed from a variety of internet sources may be played via the iPod touch, allowing the CM-IW100T to be used as a discreet in-room music source. Its line level audio signal may be connected to a distributed audio component for whole-home music playback.
Via a Wi-Fi connection, Apps, iTunes music content, and home control applications that are supported by the iPod touch can be downloaded for integration with compatible control systems.
The CM-IW100T provides continuous charging of the mounted iPod touch and may be installed in a vertical or horizontal orientation.
